He has more than 19,000 open heart surgeries to his credit, which include minimally invasive cardiac surgery, port access approach (keyhole) for valve surgery, Atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, carotid artery endarterectomy, aortic aneurysms, Extracorporeal life support ECMO, cardiac arrhythmia surgery, total arterial revascularization, minimally invasive coronary artery bypass surgery on beating heart, Bentall’s operation, Aortic arch and thoracic abdominal aortic repair with excellent results.

Dr. Mishra has conducted more than 500 successful robotic cardiac surgery and 1000 Redo Cardiac Surgeries. He has been a leading member of the core Heart team for the development of TAVR in Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and has also played an active part in Heart Transplantation and Ventricular Assist Device procedures.
