Arthroscopy Knee Surgery
Arthroscopic procedure is used to treat many orthopedic conditions like meniscus, articular cartilage, and trimming damaged cartilage.
Signs & Symptoms of Arthroscopy Knee Surgery Need

- Dislocation of the patella
- Inflamed lining of the joint
- Damaged anterior cartilage ligament and posterior cartilage ligament
- Small pieces of broken cartilage in the joint

Treatment of Arthroscopy Knee Surgery
Step 1
General anesthesia and/or regional anesthesia are given to the patient.
Step 2
Two small incisions are made over the knee – one for the arthroscope and the other for the surgical instrument.
Step 3
Special sterile salt water is pumped in to expand the knee which makes it easier for the surgeon to see inside the joint.
Step 4
Arthroscope is inserted into the cuts and the surgeon looks inside the joint using the attached camera.
Step 5
Correction in tissue is made after the surgeon has located the problem.
Step 6
After surgery, the fluid is drained out and incisions are closed with stitches.
